The foundry's capacity provides production of the whole steel casting cycle from 150 kg to 180 tonnes and dimensions of 4,000x6,000x12,000 mm. Production covers a wide range of steel castings: structural (including alloy), structural alloy with special properties (martensitic steels, martensitic-ferrite, austenitic-martensitic, austenitic classes). As well as Russian standards, it has a great deal of experience of working with foreign ones: DIN, BS, NFA, ASTM, JIS. Certificates have been issued for separate types of steel castings by Lloyd's Register (United Kingdom), DNV (Norway), Bureau Veritas (France) and the Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping. The laboratories are certified to carry out all types of destructive and non-destructive testing. Determination of the chemical content of materials is made using spectrometers produced by Philips and ARL. The physical, mechanical and technological properties of moulding and core sand mixtures are determined using equipment from Dietert, G. Fisher, etc. The development and modelling of all stages of the casting is conducted using MAGMASOFT software. Over recent years new manufacturing equipment has been developed for foundry production. Pattern production is equipped with a five axis machining centre for preparing complex patterns using CAD/CAM systems. During moulding a modern method is used for preparing self-hardening mixtures, the globally recognised Alphaset process, and mixing machines are installed which work on this process. We produce steel castings for all industries: engineering, power engineering, shipbuilding, cement industry, mining industry, etc. Our foundry supplies steel castings to any part of the CIS and near abroad. Modernisation measures are expanding our capabilities. For this reason, we are looking for strategic partners for long term cooperation.
